Pastor
Rev. Dr. Don Brackbill
Pastor Don has come to FCC, Globe via many years in pastoral ministry. Beginning when he was 24, he began pastoring and has pastored churches in Phoenix, Arizona; Upland, California, Casa Grande, Arizona and Miami, Arizona. He has spent the majority of his ministry developing a caring pastoral ministry to those in spiritual need.
He graduated from Gateway Seminary in 2011 with a Doctor of Ministry degree which focused on developing church ministry for family caregivers. He cultivated his work, both academically and in practice, helping churches focusing on persons who are caring for terminally/chronically ill family members. His passion for caring for others is evident in his pastoral work and his educational background.
In 2020, during the pandemic, Pastor Don met his wife Tiffany and her two children, Madison (Maddie) and Robyn. They married in early 2021 and they share in the pastoral leadership in the church together with Tiffany leading women’s ministry and the worship ministry of FCC.
Pastor Don enjoys reading, particularly about the Holocaust and the Civil War. The sixteenth President (Abraham Lincoln) is a personal hero of his and reads of this historic individual regularly. Pastor Don enjoys stamp collecting, wood working, writing and golf!
Meet Our Volunteers
Jerry McCreary
Jerry serves FCC Globe as Volunteer Treasurer and also as Trustee. As Treasurer, he monitors income and expenses, pays the bills, and provides financial updates to the Board and Congregation. As Trustee, he keeps a watchful eye on the building and grounds, and arranges for repairs and regular maintenance.
Izora Ayers
Izora has several roles as a volunteer. As the Captain of the Diaconate, she arranges the schedule and ensures that the church is ready for Sunday Morning Worship. She is also in charge of God’s Little Pantry, first preparing the sack lunches and then stocking the Pantry with food and water.
